A-FACTORYのカフェテリアでは本マグロを出す寿司店があり、さらに45分寿司食べ放題ランチ1000円という看板に惹かれる。2階にはシードルをテースティングできるスペースとイタリアンがある。
A-FACTORY near Aomori Station is a new souvenir shop and cafeteria. The poster appeals 1000 Yen sushi lunch as much as you can have within 45 minutes which sounds interesting.
青森旅行中はあいにく腹具合がパッとしなくて、いくつか訪ねてみたい店もあったのだが、適当なもので軽めに済ませることになった。ワ・ラッセの中にある食堂に行ってみたら向かいの帆立小屋という店からの配達なんですよと案内嬢が説明というかむしろそちらに誘導するみたいな雰囲気を感じて、その店に向かうことにした。マグロ・イカ・ホタテ丼を食べたが、帆立は旨い。店内では500円で帆立釣りもやっていて、釣り上げたのをテーブルで焼いて食べられる趣向。ここで気がついたのだが、A-FACTORYの寿司もこの店の仕切りのようで、あちらで2500円の本マグロ丼がここは2200円となっていた。両方試さない限り比較は出来ないけど、テナント代分だけ高めなのかも。
Unfortunate was my stomach condition during this trip that forced me to eat light meals. At Wa Rasse museum/souvenir shop next to A-FACTORY, we tried the restaurant, but the waitress politely explained that the meals were delivered from the restaurant "Hotategoya" across the street, so we went out as she steered us. I had tuna/squid/scallops over bowl of rice, and the scallops were very good. You can fish scallops for 500 Yen/5 minutes in this restaurant, and you can grille your catch on the table. I also noted that black tuna on rice here was 2200 Yen while the same cost 2500 Yen at A-FACTORY.
青森から乗り継ぐ時は見過ごしてしまうのだが、新青森駅1Fの土産品売場は充実していた。僕は帰りの新幹線でつまむおにぎりとデザートを仕入れた。田酒プリンは酒粕の味を程良くブレンドさせていて楽しめた。連れ合いは700円くらいするリンゴのゼリーを選んだが、これには丸ごと1個リンゴが収まっていて味も秀逸だった。
The first floor of Shin-Aomori Station is a fulfilling souvenir facility that you might miss when you simply transfer from Aomori. I bought some light bites for the returning Shinkansen ride: a scallop/salmon egg rice ball and "Denshu" (Japanese sake) pudding. This pudding had an enjoyable balance of sake flavor blend.
My travel partner bought an apple jelly that cost some 700 Yen containing a whole apple in it, and it was actually very tasty.
