Café LYS in Hakone -

Last week when I ran my bike over the pass to Hakone, I had lunch at Café Lys in Musée Lalique in the area of Sengokubara. My costume might look a bit odd with 3/4 nicker pants with compression tights underneath, but in my mind still more appropriate than the roadracer uniform with jersey and pants. Without waiting much, I was guided to a table. The restaurant was relaxingly spacious and I could enjoy the nice view of the garden in autumn colors. There were some tables outside in the terrace, but I had sweated and was not warm enough, so I stayed inside.
The meat dish for the day (1900 Yen) was pork sauté, and some vegetables were served in a small Staub casserole. They do care the style here. The bread was served separately with 200 Yen addition. This was not extremely but fairly good meal and the atmosphere was excellent. I originally planned to visit the museum but the time was already short and I had to run immediately after lunch unfortunately.
