地下鉄新宿御苑駅のリノベーション計画から昨年閉店することになって一年余、待ちわびた美苑鮨が東北沢駅前で再出発したという噂を聞いて、早速出かけてみた。まずは何としてもばら寿司を食べる。この店のにぎりなど普通の寿司も美味しいが、酢締めしたままかり、鯖、鯛などを散らした岡山のばら寿司はおそらく東京ではここでしか楽しめない逸品。値段は1500円と前より高くはなったが、むしろこれが適正な価格ではないかと思う。変わらず納得のランチでした。
We heard the
rumor that Misono Sushi restarted in Higashi-Kitazawa, and it was our long
waited news, so we went out today. This sushi bar shut down a year ago due to
the plan of renovating Shinjuku-Gyoen subway station. The first thing we
ordered was definitely “bara-zushi” that is unique in Okayama district, with
the slices of fish on the rice all vinegar seasoned. They raised the price to
1500 Yen but we thought it actually reasonable, and this is probably the only place
we can enjoy it in Tokyo.
