野辺山のソフトクリーム – Soft Ice Cream in Nobeyama

八ヶ岳高原に行った。野辺山の牛乳やヨーグルトは都会のスーパーなどにも出荷されているが、ここホクレンの直売ショップには数種類の特別な地元牛乳パッケージが売られていて、中でもこのジャージー牛乳は乳脂肪分が4.2%と高く、おみやげに買って帰ったが、濃厚でとても美味しかった。ヨーグルトの方はガッチリ固形状態に近くて、なめらかさのないのが残念だった。

この直売所に来たら、まず外せないのがソフトクリームだ。この「しゅっぽっぽ」、もちろんいただきました。

I went to Yatsugatake Kogen (=Highland). Milk and yogurt produced in Nobeyama can be found in some supermarkets in Tokyo, but here in the local direct shop of Hokuren, several different packages are available, and above all this Jersey milk in the photo above claims to have 4.2% high fat. I bought one and brought back home to find it dense and very tasty. On the other hand, unfortunately, the yogurt was too solid to melt smoothly on the tongue.

Another thing you should not forget here is the wagon of soft ice cream. I did not of course!
