Le Boulanger Saibron – 赤坂サカスのパン屋

イルミネーションを見にサカスまで足を運んだ本当の目的はドミニク・セブロンというパン屋を覗いてみたかったからだ。オープン当時、相当な話題になっていたので、ポワラヌのようなパンをイメージしていたが、ちょっと期待とは違った。どうやらここはマキシム・ド・パリ資本のパン屋さんらしい。すごく小さなスペースに小振りのバゲットやブール、ペストリーなど、一通りの品揃えで、僕が買って帰ったのは下の写真の5点だが、これで1710円というのは高すぎるよね。



Dominique Saibron in Akasaka Sacas was highly regarded at its opening, and I was expecting something like Poilâne, but not quite. This shop seems run by Maxim de Paris. The shop is very tiny but carries the standard range from baguette, boule to variety of pastries. I bought 5 as in the photo, and the price was rather expensive 1710 Yen.
