ここ数年、サンフランシスコで人気のカフェだと連れて行ってもらったサイトグラスは町の中心部からは少し外れて、デザイン会社などが集まる再開発地域にある。素朴に古さを醸し出す内装で、珈琲を淹れるサービスもわざと遅くして時間をかけている。客もこのまったり感を楽しむようにここにたむろしている。忙しいビジネス客には付き合えないテンポだ。BGMもLPレコードを何とマッキントッシュのアンプから流している。東京進出が予定されているとのこと。
I was taken to Sightglass cafe in San Francisco that is said very popular in recent years. The interior was simple and classic, and the service was intentionally slow. They take extra time to blow coffee. Guests seem enjoying this relaxed, slow atmosphere that busy business people would not be able to cope with. The background music was from LP records through McIntosh amplifier!
