年末にポルトガル旅行した友人が土産話持参で訪ねて来るというので、軽い食事の用意。ポルトガルは我々も行き先として暖めているひとつなので、まずはともあれ写真を見ながらあれこれ情報収集してから、食卓に移動し、いただいたの缶詰を開ける。Lulasと書かれたこの缶詰の中身はイカに米、玉葱、トマトを詰めてオリーブ油漬けしたもの。意外にサッパリ味。
A friend of ours visited us with some
souvenirs of her recent trip to Portugal, so I prepared a light meal. Our
conversation started with the photos she took for us to get variety of
information, and then we move to the table. This Lulas is canned squid stuffed
with rice, onion and tomato in olive oil. Favorably light taste.
こちらはそれに三つ肴を加えて、クレマン･ドゥ･ブルゴーニュで応えた。あいにく客人はほとんど飲めないので、ボトルはこちらが独占状態。写真にはないが、この後は仕込んでおいた筑前煮とちらし寿司、アサリの汐汁に進む。
I responded with a bottle of Crémant de
Bourgogne and three kinds of typical New Year dishes. Our guest does not drink
much and thus the bottle is almost mine! Actual meal followed after this with “Chikuzen”
vegetables, “Chirashi-sushi” and clear clam soup.
