Many years ago when Eurasian Delicatessen was in Roppongi, I used to buy oil sardine and marinated salmon, and the memory of its delicacy is still on my tongue. I make marinated salmon with a straightforward recipe myself, mixing wine vinegar and olive oil, adding laurel, parsley, dill, adjusting salt and sugar, and I am happy because it is good enough to recall Eurasian Deli. The real challenge is their rare cheesecake and I will try it someday.
