紬山荘 - Tsumugi Sanso

八ヶ岳方面に向かう途中、山梨の長坂ICを降りて昼食に立ち寄った。場所を特定するのはちょっと努力が必要だが、何もない周囲には場違いなくらいセンスの良い棟を構え、昼は蕎麦、夜はフレンチを供する。

もともとは東京でやっていたワインバーを畳んでこちらに来たとのこと。前菜のマリネは確かにフレンチ的。そして鴨ネギのつけ汁が美味。来春から1室宿泊も始めるらしいので、そうなったら是非ともディナーに来ようと思う。

We get out of the highway at Nagasaka interchange in Yamanashi prefecture on way to Mt. Yatsugatake, and stopped by at this restaurant for lunch. It may be difficult to find the spot in the middle of nowhere, but this stylish house stands out in its neighborhood. They offer soda noodles in the lunch time, and French dinner in the evening.

They used to run a wine bar in Tokyo before, and indeed had the starter a slight French flavor. The noodle I had was canard and green onion the dip soup of which was very tasty. They plan to open a room facility for lodging starting next spring, and it may be convenient for me to try their dinner with a relaxed stay.

O Comercial, Lisboa - リスボンの昼食

春の旅行記でポルトガルの部分を欠落させてしまったが、忘れてはいけない店がふたつあった。そのひとつがO Commercial。日本で言えば経団連みたいな団体があって、そのビルは歴史的建造物なので館内ツアーもできる。我々は ランチの予約を入れて、それまでの待ち時間を埋めるべくツアーに参加した。看板には前衛ポルトガル料理と謳っており、ここは絶対お薦めとフランスの友人から言われたお店だ。中はゆったりとして静かで、落ち着いて昼食が取れるレストランだった。この雰囲気は素晴らしい。穴場なのか客は少ない。料理はどれも品のあるプレゼンテーションで、供されるハウスワインもしっかり美味しい物を選んでおり、給仕に尋ねるとデパートで買えるよと答えていた。€15ランチとしては抜群のコスト･パーフォーマンスと断言できる。

I failed to cover the portion in Portugal in my past trip uploads, but we had actually a couple of lunches that should be remembered. One is O Commerical in Lisboa. Portuguese commercial industry owns a historical building in Lisboa, and they organize interesting tours inside. We booked our lunch at their museum shop and a tour was ideal to kill time before eating. This restaurant was strongly recommended by a friend in Paris, and the panel in front said "progressive Portuguese cuisine".
As we go in, the restaurant was not busy at all unexpectedly, but the area was calm, quiet and spacious. Also, the service was appropriately attentive for us to fully enjoy a wonderful lunch. Dishes were all beautifully prepared and the wines that came with were nice. I asked about these bottles to the waiter who told us they were available in the local department store, too. This was a superb €15 lunch!!
